Terms of use

These terms govern your use of NurseMate AI (“NurseMate”, “the app”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

1. Educational use only — not medical advice

NurseMate is a study tool for nursing education. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or patient-specific advice, and it must never be used to make decisions about real patient care. For real patients, always follow your clinical guidelines, supervisors and local protocols. In an emergency, contact emergency services.

2. AI-generated content can be wrong

Study replies, quiz marking and case feedback are generated by artificial intelligence. They can contain mistakes, omissions or outdated information. Always verify important facts against your course materials, textbooks and instructors. NurseMate is a practice partner, not an authority.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and be at least 16 years old (the app is designed for nursing students and adult learners). You are responsible for activity on your account. You can permanently delete your account at any time in Settings.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the notes and documents you upload. You grant us the limited right to store and process them solely to provide the service to you (for example, extracting text so you can practise from it). You must not upload identifiable patient information, or content you don’t have the right to use.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the app: no attempts to break security or access other users’ data, no unlawful content, no using the service to harass or harm others, and no scraping or reselling the service.

6. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep NurseMate available, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Features may change or be discontinued. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for it (currently zero — the app is free).

7. Termination

You can stop using NurseMate and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
